With a physiotherapy Master’s degree from the University of Witwatersrand, Johannesburg, and a Bachelor’s degree from the National Sport Academy, Sofia, Sachka also has a graduate diploma in medical rehabilitation. Continuing to expand her knowledge even further, Sachka has completed a number of post-graduate courses in neurodynamics, Pilates and acupuncture. She’s recently been increasing her experience in vestibular rehabilitation too, through assisting patients in their recovery from balance disorders.
Sachka began her career working at a specialised diabetes and endocrinology hospital in Sofia, Bulgaria, undertaking a leading role in the management of painful diabetic neuropathy. She then worked for more than ten years in South Africa, as a senior physiotherapist in both private and National Health Service hospitals. She’s also worked as a clinical educator for St George’s hospital, London.
Sachka has outstanding experience in the treatment and management of a wide range of musculoskeletal, pulmonary, pre and post-surgical, and neurological conditions, in both adults and children.
Sachka is passionate about using the best evidence-based ‘hands on’ skills to help you to recover as quickly as possible.
