Meet Surmeet Kaur Sethi, a Senior Physiotherapist at W5Physio. Surmeet has a strong foundation in healthcare – she’s not only a Bachelor of Physiotherapy (BSc Hons) but is also registered with both the HCPC and CSP. Her diverse experience spans more than a decade, beginning her career in India in 2007 where she passionately worked across various departments including Orthopaedic, Surgical, Paediatric, ICU, and CCU wards, as well as in private practice.
Following her move to London post-marriage, Surmeet has been dedicating her expertise in the UK as a Senior Physiotherapist since July 2014. Surmeet’s decision to join W5Physio was driven by her desire to be part of a prestigious and well-established clinic known for its exceptional care and knowledgeable team. She finds huge satisfaction in her role as a physio, celebrating every moment when her patients achieve pain-free lives and regain their full capacities.
Surmeet’s professional interests lie mainly in musculoskeletal and exercise rehabilitation. She’s renowned for her ability to build strong professional relationships with her patients, a testament to her compassionate and effective approach to treatment.
Outside of her professional life, Surmeet has a vibrant personality, with passions ranging from music and dance to travelling and socialising. Her commitment to continuous learning is evident through additional certifications, including sports massage and K taping, further enhancing her skills in patient recovery.
Surmeet’s philosophy centres around a holistic approach to treatment, considering not just the physical aspects of pain and injury but also the psychological factors that may impact recovery. She strives to create a comfortable and confident environment for her patients, setting achievable milestones that motivate and encourage them throughout their healing journey.
